Hi, Does anyone have a link to the new barcodes? We only have access to the ones that were last edited in 2024 and haven't heard back since trying to add new stock at the beginning of the month.

Barcode Detail.
Hi Everyone, first post for me and first time using barcodes. I have the Niimbot and can make the barcodes no problem.
What I need to know is do you you just need the bar code to read the number from the barcode only? Or do you need the barcode to give all the rest of the data like description, price etc?
I assume you just need the barcode to read the number only and the system at your end will use that along with the spreadsheet to work out the rest.

Hi Steve, I'm sure someone from SDX will give you the official answer - but yes, you assume right. The scanner will pick up the code and read across to the data on price, description etc that is held elsewhere.
Price increases
Hi, I need to clarify where that I need to create a new barcode if I’m increasing the prices of my current products. Or do I just notify SDX of the price increase for each product and they amend the barcode? Thanks.

If you search old emails you should be able to access the links. I'm almost finished updating/streamlining all my barcodes across the ranges so product codes/scents have similar numbers across all my stockists. There are instructions from SDX in one of the booklets (took me a while to find it) and I simply created new codes myself. I'll be requesting to delete the old bar codes once the last stock with those codes have sold through.
