New Barcodes for Jewellery

Has anyone been given any advice/guidance on implementing the new barcodes specifically for jewellery items? When it all changed the last time to us having to print our own barcodes I changed all of mine to make them generic as I thought this would be easier but will now need to change them all back again.


But what I'm not 100% sure on is the 30 limit, is this a limit to the amount of barcodes we can have active any anyone time? Or can we have say 30 earrings, 30 pendants, 30 rings etc?


I know it needs to be different barcodes for say size, colour, metal or gemstone etc, it's really the 30 limit that I would like to get some clarification on so I can plan this ahead of the 5th of June submission deadline as I think this will take a fair bit of planning for…

I have sent out updates this week on both the product limit and further information on the barcoding system. Our records show these emails were delivered successfully to you but you haven't opened them. They were sent from info@sdx.scot please check your inbox and any spam/junk folders for these emails.

Where does one find the barcode list with the yes and no column?

Mark each product with YES (keep) or NO (remove)

Hi


Yesterday I received an email about the new barcoding process. As part of it it said to review your current product list (the file on OneDrive I presume) and "Mark each product with YES (keep) or NO (remove)".


However there is no identifiable column for this. Since I'm not making any changes (I already have individual codes for each item), do I still have to do this and if so, do we create a new column to mark each line "YES"?

Hi Neil,


Can I check who sent you this email? I have been sending out updates regarding the new barcode system and I haven't advised anyone to mark products for removal.
