New Barcoding Process

Has anyone been given any advice/guidance on implementing the new barcodes specifically for jewellery items? When it all changed the last time to us having to print our own barcodes I changed all of mine to make them generic as I thought this would be easier but will now need to change them all back again.

But what I'm not 100% sure on is the 30 limit, is this a limit to the amount of barcodes we can have active any anyone time? Or can we have say 30 earrings, 30 pendants, 30 rings etc?

I know it needs to be different barcodes for say size, colour, metal or gemstone etc, it's really the 30 limit that I would like to get some clarification on so I can plan this ahead of the 5th of June submission deadline as I think this will take a fair bit of planning for me.
