Stocklist spreadsheet - VAT question
Hi,
I'm just having a look at the new Stocklist spreadsheet (filename: Stocklist updated 25) and have a question about the VAT cells.
I'm wondering why the spreadsheet prompts us to enter the price exc. VAT (column E) first, which is needed to auto-populate the price inc. VAT column (F), rather than the other way around: i.e. I enter the RRP which I know includes the 20% VAT rolled in, and the spreadsheet calculates the VAT?
It might just be me, but it would save having to do a bit of manual maths first to calculate the RRP minus VAT and enter that into the spreadsheet.
Or am I missing something? (this is very likely....!).
Thanks

Hi David,
When you indicate that you do not charge VAT it will not calculate the price with VAT. If you do charge VAT you will already be aware of the price of your products before adding VAT.
