Problem with pricing

I applied for approval for some hand knotted pearls and they were accepted. I generated bar codes and took the pearls into the Edinburgh store. Callum told me I had grossly underpriced them and suggest I return the following day with new barcodes for the increased amount. However when I returned Jude told me that I could not increase the price until the next date for a new consignment. I have withdrawn the pearls but it seems unreasonable that the price cannot be adjusted for several months. Much was said initially about jewellers being different because a lot of our products are one offs but I have heard nothing since about how jewellers will be assisted to get new products available more quickly.

I'm sorry for the confusion there, it seems this wasn't communicated between Callum and Jude as you should have been allowed to bring in the new prices as agreed with Callum.


Please send through your new prices to apply@sdx.scot and we will get these added to our system as soon as possible for you, we'll be in touch when the new prices have been added.


You can use generic barcodes with different price points that can be applied to your new products and save you having to submit these at the start of each consignment period.
