Hello,

Wondering if anyone can help me out with the new barcoding system that is coming into place from July.

I understand that variations of products now need individual barcoding... my question is how detailed do we have to be? For example I sell a range of ceramic jewellery as well as my pottery... I have aproximately 5 different shapes of earrings, each with several different colour ways. Is it enough to identify each different shape with separate barcodes? If I were to create barcodes for each design and the colour way I would end up with soooo many barcodes.

Also are folk just creating a spreadsheet with all their existing products and barcodes, plus new ones for the individual designs and sending it to info@sdx.com?

Trying to get this sorted ASAP as I'm going on maternity leave very soon and need to get stock delivered, so any help is greatly appreciated!!
