Store displays
The new store is looking fantastic, well done to all the staff and designers. It feels bright, welcoming, and the displays are already shaping up beautifully. There’s so much potential for really eye-catching window displays that could highlight all the talented designers and their work. It was also great to see plenty of footfall and customers buying. It genuinely feels like the right step forward for the store.
I did want to flag a security concern, especially around the jewellery. The door to the stockroom is currently unlocked, which means anyone could head downstairs, and the jewellery stock itself isn’t locked away yet. With metal prices being so high, that does make me quite anxious.
I know there’s still lots to finish in store, and it’s amazing how quickly everything has come together already. I did feel it was a bit of a shame that the jewellery cabinets aren’t in a more prominent spot. As a premium product, I’m not sure how the other jewellers feel, but it doesn’t quite feel like it’s being showcased to it's best at the moment. I realise they need power for the lighting, but where they are now seems a little dark and cramped.
Would it be possible to reconsider their placement and the overall jewellery display in the coming weeks, just so they can become more of a focal point?
Thanks again for all the hard work the past few weeks.

Hi Marion, The jewellery in the stockroom is now in locked cabinets. As well as running the store, it has been difficult for myself and the staff to get the time to do everything that needed to be done in the stockroom. However, everyone now has an allocated stock space and the jewellery is locked away securely. I hope that puts your mind at rest. Kind regards Lynzi
