Invisible Comments
Hi I posted 3 weeks ago about comments that have been made on posts but not being able to see them. Greame replied that comments on posts now need to be approved before they are posted but wasn't given any clarification on why this extra step was needed as I don't believe this was always the case.
The comments from other forum members can be really helpful at answering questions when SDX staff are busy and can take a few days to reply so I'm wondering why the need to approve comments?

This is a very busy period right now, and with Linzie off sick we are focusing on prioritising emails as our main channel for communication. Questions like this should always be emailed to info@sdx.scot rather than posting on the forums.
I have turned off comment approvals for the time being, the reason this was implemented was to ensure posts and comments were aligning with our values and that the forums were not becoming a place of negativity.
