Jewellery Shelves Edinburgh
Hi I was just wondering what is happening with jewellers who have decided to stay on but previous only had one shelf and now have to take two shelves as the new minimum requirement.
When I was in before Christmas it was mentioned that there might be new display cases and it will be one large shelf instead of two smaller ones. I am due to be in on Monday and I just wanted to double check so I have a better idea on what display items I might need.

Hi Laura, Thanks for your feedback. After much discussion and trying different layouts for the jewellery, the consensus was that the cabinets looked much better, with the bottom shelves filled with jewellery. I had my doubts, until I saw it for myself and spoke to some customers. I actually think the jewellery on the bottom shelf is much easier to see, than the top shelf, as you can look down on it. We do have a spare cabinet in the stockroom, that we can use, if we think the bottom shelf is an issue, but we want to try it as it is, for now. When the stock boxes were in the bottom of the cabinet, it drew the eye away from the jewellery and so far, everyone we have talked to in store, prefers the new layout. The jewellery cabinets will still be rotated weekly, so it should keep everything fresh for the customers and allow for a fair set up for everyone, to be at the top at last once in the month. I am always keeping an eye out for jewellery cabinets. They are very expensive to buy new. We would like to replace the ones in Edinburgh this year though. All the best Lynzi
