Missing Stock
Hey , im wondering who is best to contact about missing stock since the move. I've got a few hundred pounds worth of stock that has not been located, including 3 framed A3 prints at £80 each and 7 tea towels at £16 each, so £350 on just those items alone. Im not having any luck with contacting the store and would like to know who is best to speak to on this. Im not particularly pleased with how this has been handled so far.
Regards

Hi Kym, I am sorry for your frustration. I will look into this for you and make sure you get a reply early next week, when Linzie is back from her holiday. It would be really helpful if you could email me some more information to lynzi@sdx.scot I had a quick look at your sales from 1st Nov 2025 - 31st March and I can't see any sales at £80 for framed prints. Could you please let me know by email if it was only 3 framed prints you brought/posted to the store and when. We took photos of everyone's space in Buchanan Galleries before we packed up the stock, to make sure we knew exactly what was on the space. And I am 100% sure no items were left behind in Buchanan Galleries. I will ask Linzie to do a detailed stock vs sales check, going back 6 months, so we can look at exactly what you brought/posted in vs what has been sold. But any additional information you can send me, would be great. I would guess as A3 framed prints are large, you would have brought them into the store, rather than post them, and if that were the case, you would have put them on your wall ffor sale and not in back stock? Or were they for window displays? All large pieces like this, were wrapped in bubble wrap and carried seperately, to avoid damage in the move. I will call the Glasgow store and ask them to check a small room we have in the stockroom, where we put large originals, just in case the prints have been placed there and not put back in your back stock. Once I hear from you by email with more detail, I will make sure this is followed up. As you can imagine, just 5 weeks in from such a huge move, the Glasgow team have been doing their best to get everything back into good shape. With holidays on top of everything else, it has not been easy for them. But please be assured we will get to the bottom of what has happened to your stock. Kind regards Lynzi
